About working with PDF

PDF was designed so a document looks the same on any screen and printer. That makes it excellent for distribution and frankly awkward to edit: it is not a text format but the description of an already composed page.

That is why the useful operations are not "editing the PDF" but acting on its pages: merging, splitting, rotating, signing them. All of those can be done without decomposing the document, and several without leaving the browser.

About signing: a drawn and embedded signature is a valid electronic signature, admissible as evidence, but it is not the same as a digital signature with a certificate and timestamp. We do the first, and only the first. If your document needs the second —because you expect it might be disputed— what you need is an accredited certification authority, not this tool.
