What formats does it support?
It accepts JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF. The output keeps the original format when the browser can encode it; AVIF is delivered as PNG.
Does cropping reduce quality?
The selected area is re-encoded into a new file. PNG does not lose quality; JPG and WebP are encoded at a high quality setting.
